Converting to a Purchase Request

The main purpose of an Order List is to quickly generate a Purchase Request with your saved products.

Creating a Draft PR from an Order List​

  1. Open the Order List or find it on the index page.
  2. Click "Create Draft PR".
  3. You'll be redirected to a new draft Purchase Request pre-filled with all products and quantities from the list.

The draft PR is created in Draft status, meaning you can:

  • Review and adjust quantities
  • Add or remove products
  • Fill in request details (name, delivery location, required-by date, etc.)
  • Submit when ready

The Order List is not modified when you create a PR from it. You can reuse the same list as many times as you need.

Creating an Order List from a Purchase Request​

You can also work in the other direction -- create an Order List from an existing Purchase Request:

  1. Open a Purchase Request.
  2. Use the Create Order List option.
  3. Provide a name for the new list.
  4. All products and quantities from the PR are copied into the new Order List.

This is useful when you've placed an order and want to save those items for future reorders.

After converting an Order List to a PR, the list's "last used" date is updated. If you have a recurring reminder set, the next reminder date is recalculated based on this date.
